A website dedicated to helping Breast Cancer Survivors reclaim a positive body image and a healthy lifestyle. Includes podcasts. is a free online community where people going through breast cancer can communicate with their loved ones and one another during treatment, using their own unique website address, provided by the Breast Cancer Stories website. Additionally, newly diagnosed breast cancer patients can search an index of stories based on age, location, type of cancer and type of treatment, find someone similar to themselves and follow their stories, helping them to feel not quite so alone.

rovides free CANCER101 Ten-Year Planners to cancer centers across the country to give to their patients and caregivers. Our organizational tools empower cancer patients and caregivers to take control over their diagnosis from the moment they learn they have cancer through the next ten years of follow-up care. Our planners encourage dialogue, questions are asked and answered, notes and appointments are written down in one place and patients and caregivers feel in control. And just as importantly, the ten-year planner gives patients and their loved ones hope.

Corporate Angel Network (CAN)
Provides free air transportation for cancer patients traveling to and from recognized treatment centers in the US without regard to their financial resources.

Cancer Hope Network
Matches patients and their families with survivors who have undergone a similar experience.

Cancer Survivors Network
AN American Cancer Society Organization that includes a range of services that are phone-based and web-based, from pre-recorded discussions to live online chat sessions and virtual support groups. Access to services and programs are available in English and Spanish.
Drug Side Effects - is a comprehensive Web site featuring extensive information about medications, drug interactions, and drug side effects.

The Hope Chest Dragon Boat Team
The Hope Chest is a growing team of women sharing the common bond of being breast cancer survivors. The team mission of The Hope Chest is to help people understand that they can lead full, active lives, despite the physical limitations of the disease. Their unique floating support and exercise program is open to breast cancer survivors of all ages.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer

Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. Programs and services include conferences, teleconferences, the Survivors Helpline (888-753-5222),, newsletters, recordings, publications, networking programs and a library.

Look Good Feel Better
This organization is associated with The American Cancer Society. It teaches women techniques to enhance their appearance and self-image during cancer treatment, including makeover workshops, information on wigs, makeup, and one-on-one consultations in English and Spanish.

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS)
A network of groups and individuals who offer information and resources on cancer, support, advocacy, and quality of life issues. Access to services and programs are available in English and Spanish

Pregnant With Cancer Network
The mission of the Pregnant With Cancer Network, is to let you know that you are not alone. Being diagnosed with cancer when you're pregnant can be a terrifying and lonely experience. You may feel like the only pregnant woman to ever be given such devastating news. They have set up a network of women from across the United States who were once given the same diagnosis. These women are here to lend support, offer hope, and share their experiences.

The Sister Study
The Sister Study is one of the first long-term studies to help us understand how women's genes and the things in their environment homes, workplaces, and communities influence risk of breast cancer. It is the first to collect such extensive and detailed information about environmental exposures. Fifty thousand women are enrolled, but there are still some places to join.

Team Towanda Foundation
Team Towanda works to inspire friends and breast cancer patients to tap into the power of friendship, laughter and kindness in the fight against breast cancer.
