Dr. Rosenblatt Joins WomenStories National Review Board
Laurie Rosenblatt, M.D.
WomenStories welcomes Dr. Laurie Rosenblatt of Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School to the WomenStories National Review Board. Dr. Rosenblatt became friends with Mimi and the project after receiving a newsletter and right away started to review videos and advise us about distribution.

Laurie Rosenblatt received her M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in 1986, and completed her residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts Mental Heath Center. She practices psychiatry at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and teaches at the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rosenblatt’s research focuses on illness narratives and the uses of narratives in medical education. She has published patient narratives in creative non-fiction journals, and in books on the subjective experience of illness.

Dr. Rosenblatt has also published articles and book chapters on end of life care, grief, the psychological effects of political torture, and medical decision-making under managed care. She is presently completing her Masters in English Literature; and has published poems in Coelacanth, JAMA, and Borderlands: Texas Review of Poetry.

We are delighted that Dr. Rosenblatt will continue to advise us, and that from now on she will have the title to accompany her advisory activities.
