Young Women and Breast Cancer
"My relationship with my father during this time, we became more close, because again, it was, it was about mortality. He’s at the end of his completion of life and I never thought about it. Mine, no. I’ve got a long time to live.
But when you hear that you have breast cancer, right away, you think of death, so I related with my father that fact and I told him that and he did really open up more and now I realize what he’s going through, at his age at eighty-one. Even though I have breast cancer, he has different issues, we both look at mortality the same and that is why I say that life is too short."
