    Recurrence and Metastasis

"A cancer diagnosis for me was hugely eye opening. I had just turned forty and I had projected my twenty years of young adult life toward that moment. I had been a young mother and I had been a single mom, I started my professional career when I was twenty-two and so I envisioned this decade starting at age forty as the next chapter for me in my personal growth and development and so the cancer diagnosis and really what has been ten years of constant new diagnoses because I would say every two years there’s been a recurrence of some sort, has just demanded that I live in the moment and because of my nature and my dreams it has encouraged me to seize each moment and just go for things, not second guess myself and not procrastinate, no time."
