Call them Programs not videos!
On July 27, 2007, WomenStories received a grant from the John R. Oishei Foundation of $49,200 to edit the ten survivor tapes for broadcast.

The John R. Oishei Foundationís mission is to enhance the quality of life for Buffalo area residents by supporting education, healthcare, scientific research and the cultural, social, civic and other charitable needs of the community. The foundation was established in 1940 by John R. Oishei, founder of Trico Products Corporation.

ThinkBright, a division of WNED, the Buffalo PBS station, will broadcast WomenStories programs when Mark Padak and Mimi edit them into 26 minute segments. ThinkBright Lifelong Learning includes a television channel that supports and enhances the educational experiences of teachers, students, families and adult learners throughout New York State. Every evening from 8:00 to 11:00 PM, ThinkBright TV has a dedicated theme, so viewers know just when to tune in to find their favorite programming or to find programs that suit their interests. Monday nights are devoted to health issues. Other nights/topics are: Family & Education, Arts & Performance, and Heritage and Diversity. Think Bright is aired throughout New York State except New York City and reaches 800,000 households. We are very excited to start work on this partnership with Think Bright, WNED.
